Latin Passive Subjunctive Conjugation Chart
Latin Passive Subjunctive Conjugation Chart
This digital chart on passive subjunctive verbs is the fourth and final installment in my Latin conjugation handout series. This simplified, color-coded chart will help you master the final frontier of Latin verbs and ensure that you can recognize and parse every verb you encounter.
This conjugation chart goes one step further than most textbooks and resources: it doesn’t just show you the forms… it lays out the entire formula for conjugating in every tense and conjugation (including 3rd -io verbs).
The idea for this handout series was born years ago, when I first learned Latin. I’m a visual learner and despite having countless examples in my textbook, I quickly discovered that examples alone weren’t good enough. I also needed to see how those example were formed. If all that information wasn’t in front of me, I got lost, confused, and overwhelmed.
Since then, I’ve refined and expanded the original idea into a comprehensive, two-page conjugation handout designed for the overwhelmed Latin student. In this PDF, you’ll find:
- An overview of Latin verbs and conjugation
- A bite-sized active personal ending chart
- Overviews of the stem vowels for each conjugation
- Easy-to-read charts on the present and imperfect subjunctive forms of sum
- Formulas for conjugating passive subjunctive verbs in every tense and conjugation
- Examples of conjugated verbs in each conjugation (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd -io, and 4th)
- Long marks on applicable vowels (to help with memorization and pronunciation)
- Footnotes to explain and support you along the way
This chart is part of a series and only covers passive subjunctive Latin verbs. You can find similar charts on the active indicative and passive indicative on my products page.
This is a 2-page, digital PDF product. You will not receive a physical product. Once you purchase, you’ll be able to download the chart right away. You’ll also receive an email with a link to download.
